Our launch party was on Saturday and I am still a bit overwhelmed by it all. We had circa 70 guests plus a whole load of teenagers in attendance. Some travelled a long, long way. Others travelled in difficult circumstances, when I really didn’t expect them.

A whole load of different universes I inhabit collided – family, school friends, work colleagues, Uni mates, neighbours, members of the game – I really was a lucky author!

Getting to sign books – being asked! – was all a bit surreal and I only messed one book up doing so.

The biggest thank you goes to Karen – for ordering the Prosecco and (without me knowing) the branded cakes.
